Powder Resistivity and Transfer Rate onto Metal Substrate

Q. Could you please explain is there any correlation between powder resistivity and its transfer rate? Is there any industrial standard for metallic powder?

A. The simple answer is No, resistively of powder has nothing to do with transfer rate. Transfer rate is the amount of powder applied to a part or parts vs the amount of powder sprayed at the part or parts. Typically we refer to transfer in terms of square feet of coverage per pound. There are many factors that come to play that will influence the transfer rate of the powder and are too numerous to list here.
