Green #383

Q. In a contract for the paint requirement it just states "Green 383". Does this automatically require the use of "CARC" paint? Are there other types of paint (other than CARC, such as camouflage alkyd enamel) that are Green 383(34094)?

A. The color #383 Green doesn't automatically specify CARC, although it is a very good bet that your customer wants CARC. If I were in your position I would confirm this with your customer rather than simply make an assumption.
