Waterborne (Water-based) Sign Enamels

Q. Do you know of an alternative to "One Shot" Lettering Enamel that is more environmentally friendly and less harmful to people? The enamel is currently being used for lettering on signs.

"1-Shot" lettering enamel appears to be a solvent-based sign paint for interior or exterior application, but I don't doubt that there are waterborne enamels that can do the same job, yet have a lower VOC. If you search Google you will find alternatives. I entered "waterborne sign paints" into Google and got several responses.

Best wishes,

Ron Joseph
