Compressor Size and Brand

Q. I am a mobile boat painter and do minor touch ups on car bumpers, etc. I currently use a devilbiss 654 finishline and a asturo k1/sx hybrid gravity feed. My million dollar question is what compressor would fit my needs? I spray single stage urethanes, epoxy primer, and clear.

A. I imagine you can use a compressor that delivers 15-22 cubic ft per minute at 80-100 psig. Frankly, I would prefer to go as high as 22 CFM for a single spray gun, but it might be more expensive. If you go much smaller, you might not get the results you are looking for.

Regards,

Ron Joseph
