Applying Alodine

Q. Hello, I have several beed blasted aluminun parts that I will paint with cerakote oven cure paint. Will alodining these parts first give the paint better adhesion an scratch resistance? Thanks.

A. Applying Alodine should improve adhesion, but might not affect scratch resistance.
