When to Clean a Spray Booth

Q: How often should you clean a spray booth to get the best finishes on furniture?

A: Ideally, you should clean it daily by sweeping or washing down the overspray that collects on the floor and walls; however, you don't need to replace the filters until they are plugged with overspray.  A monometer on the side of the booth will give an estimate of the amount of overspray by measuring the pressure differential across the filters. Your filter manufacturer will tell you the pressure differential (inches of water as measured on the manometer) at which you should change the filters.
