Food Grade Epoxies

Q. Our company makes large industrial print heads. A recent interest in using these heads to print images on cakes cookies etc. has left us in a pickle. Our heads are held together with epoxy. Toxic leachables are a concern. Food grade epoxies are availble. I need to know more about these.

A. Most paint companies, such as Sherwin-Williams, DuPont, Carboline and others make epoxies that contain non-toxic ingredients. You might want to go online and write to them asking for more information on their coatings.
