The Joint Service P2 Opportunity Handbook was designed to identify available "off-the-shelf " pollution prevention (P2) technologies, management practices, and process changes that will reduce the amount of hazardous waste and solid waste being generated.

Painting. Identifies source reduction methods (e.g., waterborne paints, powder coating) and equipment changes (e.g., HVLP).
Depainting. Identifies alternatives to solvent-based depainting chemicals, including mechanical methods.
Solvent Alternatives. Identifies alternatives to chlorinated solvent cleaning.
Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste Management. Identifies management and equipment solutions that reduce waste generation.
